Deposit & Cancellation Request

​All deposits are Non-Refundable, unless: (1) you submit a cancellation request in writing to travel@bvtourshaiti.com within 24 hours of initial payment. No other exceptions will be made. ​​

All payments are non-transferable.

If you miss two consecutive payments or fail to pay by the scheduled due dates, your booking may be automatically cancelled, and all payments already made will be forfeited.​​

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and emailed to travel@bvtourshaiti.com The date we receive your written request will determine the applicable refund amount. Cancellation requests are processed within 5 days, and any eligible refund will be issued within 30 days. Belle Vue Tours will send a confirmation letter acknowledging receipt of your cancellation request, followed by an email notifying you that your refund has been issued. Once you receive your refund, you will be required to send us an email confirming receipt.​​​

Refunds

​Every tour follows a unique payment and refund schedule. Make sure to check the specific terms for your chosen tour.​

If unforeseen circumstances require a change to the tour itinerary, Belle Vue Tours will make every effort to select alternatives of the same standard and to keep modifications to a minimum.

In addition, no refunds are possible for unused services including hotel rooms, air or land transport, trekking days, or other sightseeing excursions. If you have to be removed from a tour for any reason, you will not be entitled to any refund.

We will not reimburse guests for any personal expenses such as airline tickets, other travel or hotel expenses due to changes in itineraries. Further, we will not provide any refund for any delay, change, cancellation, overbooking, or strike by our independent suppliers who provide various goods and services connected with your tour. This includes lodging, meals, transportation, sightseeing, and activities.

We cannot make exceptions to this policy for any reason including personal emergencies, unexpected weather, natural disasters, terrorism, or any other circumstances beyond our control. In the event that you cancel, Belle Vue Tours is not responsible for any loss incurred for travel costs. For this reason, we strongly advise that you purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance to protect your travel investment. You can purchase the travel insurance through any travel company. ​

Belle Vue Tours Initiated Cancellations

Belle Vue Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour using our discretion. In this case, Belle Vue Tours will issue either of the following option of your choice:

(1) Credit equal to the amount paid toward a future tour which must be completed within one calendar year.

Or

​

(2) Full refund + deposit for the land portion only (airline ticket excluded) after proof of insurance denial has been submitted.

Refund of payments received by Belle Vue Tours will constitute the full and final settlement.

 

Postponed/Rescheduled Tours

In the event that a tour is postponed/rescheduled guests will have the following options:

(1) Attend the rescheduled tour, where credit of the amount paid for the previous tour will be applied.​

Or​

(2) Contact the insurance company for reimbursement.

Rescheduled tour will be the same tour offered at a later date or another tour of equal or greater value.  Packages are not transferable.

 

Belle Vue Tours Customized Tours

Customized tour cancellation policies are on a case-by-case basis. Will be included as part of the customize tour package.
